Advancing Diversity and Inclusion

Summa Health is committed to creating and sustaining an environment that actively embraces diversity and inclusion of our patients, employees and community partners. Through the Summa Stands with Our Community initiative, we have identified three areas of focus: education, advocacy and health.

In this video, we highlight key 2021 achievements within these three areas. Our efforts included diversity and inclusion training with our board and committees, partnering with the City of Akron to help underserved populations gain access to better health and economic improvement opportunities, and securing funds for the Vital Vax and Go mobile education program.
