Billie's Story

When it comes to healthcare, LGBTQ+ patients face many barriers, including concerns about confidentiality, fear of discrimination and negative attitudes toward treatment. At the Summa Health Pride Clinic, we provide high-quality, compassionate care for all patients regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. 

Since the Pride Clinic opened in 2019, it has offered comprehensive primary and transgender care. In 2021, the clinic added three LGBTQ+ inclusive providers in the areas of OBGYN, urology and social work in an effort to improve patient access.
