Vaccinations and Testing

COVID-19 continued to have a great impact on Summa Health and our community throughout 2021. Within the first few weeks, we vaccinated more than 5,000 employees and volunteers, with several hundred more appointments scheduled. In the following months, however, we began to experience multiple surges with the arrival Omicron and Delta variants.

From hosting community drive-through vaccination clinics and a COVID testing site to welcoming the arrival of the Ohio National Guard, we continued to persevere – going above and beyond to care for our community and each other.
