Summa Health and Akron Public Schools

Summa Health is partnering with the Akron Public Schools College & Career Academies of Akron at the Buchtel Community Learning Center. Through the Summa Health Academy of Leadership and Innovation, we offer instructional support and real-world learning opportunities for students in healthcare, leadership and computer programming. The program’s goal is to prepare students with skills that will make them competitive for college admissions or for highdemand, high-wage careers.

“Summa has been an amazing partner in so many different ways,” says Principal Nicole Hughes. This includes working with students, parents and career educators, as well as serving as a member of the advisory board.
