“It’s going to make Summa and our community stronger”

Summa Health’s Akron Campus broke ground in 2017 on our new West Tower, which, when completed in 2019, will be a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility for our patients and staff. The Tower will provide a new “front door” for Summa, clearly visible from State Route 8 and will offer expanded services and private rooms throughout much of the facility.

In total, Summa is investing more than $70 million in direct labor costs on the project, a clear boost for our local economy.
