“This team, these people are the best in the world”

Uniontown Police Department’s Sgt. David White looks back on the exceptional trauma care he received at Summa Health after he was shot four times on July 9, 2017. As a Level I Trauma Center, Summa’s Akron Campus is prepared 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week to care for the most critically ill or injured patients.

As Sgt. White says of Summa, “If I had to be in the hospital, this is where I’d want to be.”
